Striking neo-Gothic Catholic cathedral (no longer active as a church) and significant Art-Deco landmark in the city center.
The Sacred Heart Cathedral is a prominent architectural landmark dating back to the French colonial period. Designed in a neo-Gothic style with Art-Deco influences, the building no longer functions as a church but remains an important cultural and historical site. Its white façade, twin towers and spacious interior reflect a unique blend of European and Moroccan architectural elements. Today, the cathedral is occasionally used for exhibitions and events and stands as a reminder of Casablanca's diverse cultural layers.
