Beautiful example of Moroccan-Andalusian design with carved wood, stucco and tiles — often featured on city tours (interior access depends on schedule).
The Mahkama of Pacha is a striking example of Moroccan-Andalusian architecture and craftsmanship. Originally built as a courthouse and administrative building, it features richly decorated interiors with carved cedar wood ceilings, ornate plasterwork and colorful zellige tiles. Although still used for official purposes, parts of the building are accessible through guided visits when schedules allow. The Mahkama offers visitors a chance to admire traditional design elements in an authentic civic setting, making it a rewarding stop for architecture and history enthusiasts.
